MegaPari KYC & AML Policy
MegaPari maintains a Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering/Counter-Terrorism Financing (AML/CTF) framework aligned with Philippine law and Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC) rules. The policy explains how identity check, ID verification, and transaction monitoring protect users in the Philippines and support regulatory requirements. It also sets out reporting obligations to competent authorities when suspicious activity is detected.
Purpose of KYC & AML
To protect account holders and the platform, KYC/AML controls verify identity, prevent fraud, and deter financial crime. These measures also promote fair play and transparency.
- Fair play grounded in local regulatory requirements
- User safety and account protection at all times
- Transparent processes and document submission standards
- Security measures that reduce risks of suspicious activity
- Compliance with PAGCOR licensing conditions and AMLC rules
KYC Requirements
Every new account holder must complete ID verification before certain features become available. Additional identity check steps may be required during the account lifecycle to uphold security measures.
- Government-issued photo identification
- Proof of residential address dated within a recent period
- Confirmation that the payment method is owned by the account holder
- Additional document submission where risk assessment requires it
AML Measures
Controls are in place to prevent money laundering, terrorist financing, and other illegal activity. These measures follow a risk-based approach and satisfy Philippine reporting obligations.
- Ongoing transaction monitoring and activity review
- Automated detection rules and threshold triggers
- Enhanced due diligence for high-risk profiles, events, or jurisdictions
- Manual review of large or unusual transfers and payout patterns
- Customer risk scoring and periodic reassessment
- Sanctions and politically exposed person screening against applicable lists, including UN and local designations
- Timely submission of suspicious or covered transaction reports to the Anti-Money Laundering Council when required by law
Prohibited Activities
To support KYC and AML controls, the platform restricts conduct that undermines integrity and user safety. The following activities are prohibited:
- Opening or controlling multiple accounts
- Using forged, altered, or stolen documents
- Any attempt to launder funds or disguise source of funds
- Manipulating systems, odds, or game outcomes
- Sharing, selling, or transferring account access
- Using third-party cards, e-wallets, or bank accounts
- Misrepresenting identity or acting on behalf of another person
Consequences of Non-Compliance
Violations of this policy trigger enforcement in line with local law and licensing conditions. Action is proportional to risk and evidence assessed against regulatory requirements.
Measures may include temporary or permanent account suspension, freezing or confiscation of funds linked to suspicious activity, cancellation of bets or winnings, reporting to competent authorities where applicable.
User Responsibilities
Users must ensure all personal data submitted is accurate and up to date. ID verification and any document submission requests must be completed within stated timelines. Only payment instruments owned by the account holder may be used for deposits or withdrawals, and any change in details should be reported promptly. Any suspicious activity observed on an account should be reported to customer support for escalation under AMLC guidelines.

MegaPari upholds fair play and transparency to protect the community and maintain a safe betting environment in the Philippines. The same standards support responsible gaming and ongoing account protection.
- Adherence to KYC/AML standards and Philippine regulatory requirements
- Confidentiality and protection of personal data under the Data Privacy Act
- Continuous monitoring for suspicious activity and timely escalation
- Prevention of manipulation, collusion, and other unfair behavior
